Already the most impressive heavyweight boxing prospect in more than two decades, 20-year-old Moses Itauma took a giant step forward in the direction of future superstardom on Saturday in the most difficult flight to date of his two-plus years as a professional.

Moses Itauma confirmed his tremendous potential on Saturday night, as the young heavyweight stopped Dillian Whyte in just two minutes. The all-British clash in Saudi Arabia was billed as Itauma’s sternest test yet, but the 20-year-old made short work of Whyte, 37, dropping and stopping the former world-title challenger in the very first round.

Itauma, 20, currently holds the No. 1 heavyweight ranking in the WBO, and with undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk admitting he is nearing the end of his storied career, a world title shot is undoubtedly in Itauma's near future.
