Mother's Day will be mostly dry with a slight chance of rain, especially west of the Metroplex. Temperatures will range from the low 60s in the morning to the upper 70s in the afternoon with some cloud cover.

North Texas will dry back out for the weekend with a mix of sun and clouds and afternoon temperatures continuing in the 70s. Mother's Day will be clear and pleasant with temperatures reaching the mid-70s with sunny skies. As the dry stretch extends into next week and southerly winds develop, temperatures will be heating up.
