Brooks Lee and Christian Vázquez hit back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning and the Minnesota Twins beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-3 to avoid a sweep and snap a three-game skid.

For the fourth consecutive series, the Toronto Blue Jays picked up a series win. This past weekend, the Blue Jays won two of three against the Minnesota Twins, their second straight “tough opponent”.

The game was tied 2-2 before Wallner lofted a towering homer to the right field bleachers off Toronto right-hander Kevin Gausman. It was Wallner's fourth homer of the season in the big leagues, though he also slugged five homers in six games during a rehab stint at Triple-A St. Paul in May.
