Around 2:15PM, Albuquerque Fire Rescue was dispatched to a fire at 300 San Mateo Blvd NE. At least 10 AFR units responded to the fire. The call came in when an Albuquerque Police officer was patrolling the area when he radioed in about smoke from the building. According to AFR, the first arriving AFR unit on scene and reported a large 10 story abandoned commercial building with fire coming from the basement.
