When Dali, an orphaned chimpanzee rescued from poaching, arrived at Chimpanzee Conservation Center late last year, he soon fell seriously ill. CCC staff worked to rehabilitate the young chimp while taking special COVID-19 prevention measures, and after a month of quarantine, Dali was introduced to the sanctuary’s other residents.
