In 1998, a young boy wrote a simple note to his father, Officer Gould: “When I get bigger, I’m going to be my dad’s partner and catch bad guys and burglars.” No one knew then that this childhood wish would one day come true. Twenty years later, on Father’s Day, Officer Gould and his son recreated a photo from that time, standing proudly side by side in uniform.
