Flounder has a difficult time making friends because she can be a lot sometimes. She doesn’t like people (she gets that from her mom), she’s not a fan of other cats, dogs are tolerable as long as they don’t take away attention from her, and most wildlife is edible. So I was quite surprised when she met an individual she was willing to tolerate without trying to hunt down. I was even more surprised when we got home and she called him a “friend”.
