My journey with a septoplasty and turbinate reduction done in conjunction with an open septorhinoplasty. Things to know: it hurts, but the stuffy/clogged nose is worse, you get nauseated daily, no taste or smell, very dry mouth, no appetite, very thirsty, it takes a long time to heal, it’s a pretty emotional journey. Breathing is fixed, nose looks subtly different, the after is feeling vulnerable and nervous, but know that it’s worth it. #deviatedseptum #septumdeviation #septum #surgery #septorh
