New technologies for cleaner air transport! As part of the research program “Clean Sky 2“ MTU worked on two technology demonstrators: EMVAL and the two-shaft compressor rig. Together with our partners GKN Aerospace Sweden and the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR), we have further developed the low-pressure turbine and high-pressure compressor components and validated the new technologies. Now they will feed into the next generation of geared turbofan engines. #WeAreEngineExperts |
