Falkirk Wheel, the only rotating boat lift in the world. It consists of two counterbalanced arms shaped like a Celtic double-headed axe that rotate around a central axis. The structure is primarily made of steel, with over 1,200 tonnes used in its construction. Concrete and other durable materials are also used to support the structure.
