The Heinz History Center recently opened its new exhibit, “The Vietnam War: 1945-1975.” The exhibit includes a replica of the Vietnam Wall, combat uniforms and a UH-1H “Huey” helicopter with a 48-foot wing span. The exhibit, which runs through Sept. 22, looks at the United States’ involvement in Indochina from the beginning of the Cold War through the mid-1970s, with an eye toward the impact on Western Pennsylvania.
