🕚 What time is it? It's time to reveal the names of the three white rhinoceros calves who were born at The Wilds in December 2020!! 🦏 First, Barbara and John Schubert, longtime supporters of The Wilds, were given the opportunity to name Kifaru's female rhino calf (born on December 9, 2020). After consulting with their extended family members, they chose the name Binti, which is Swahili for daughter/girl. Fun fact: The Schuberts also named Kifaru shortly after she was born at The Wilds in 2011!

A beautiful moment with poaching survivor Thandi and two generations of rhino calves. 💚🦏🦏💚 Thandi is grazing with three-month-old Siya, her fourth and youngest calf, and her five-month-old grandchild Umkhosi. Thandi survived after being attacked by poachers in 2012. She has since given birth to four rhinos. She became a grandmother when Thembi, her firstborn, calved a male rhino in November 2020.
