There are many reasons to be steep but for him in particular, and for a lot of players, it was a lack of rotation and excessive arm lift to get to the top of backswing. This results in limited hand depth which is a recipe for being steep. These are some of the feels we discussed to add some hip turn and reduce arm lift to get that club shallowing more effectively.
