🚢 This is how the Ohio River really works. That barge isn’t just cruising it’s being lifted and lowered inside the New Cumberland Locks and Dam so commerce can keep moving. Steel. Coal. Aggregates. Millions of tons pass through here every year quietly powering the region while most people drive right past it. 🎥 From the air, you can really see the precision: • Gates close • Water level changes • Barge rises or drops • Then it’s back on the river No lock = no traffic. No traffic = no industry.

I am proud that I was able to secure $183 million for the U.S. Army Corps to modernize the Ohio River’s Montgomery Locks and Dam system in Beaver County.
